Valerie Stitchman

Valerie is a Registered Psychologist (MSc Psychology, BA Psychology) with focused training in trauma informed, attachment based, and emotion focused care.
She has experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, BPD, trauma, attachment difficulties, interpersonal challenges, grief and loss, ADHD, stress, burnout, and mood related concerns.
She is able to support you through complex grief, traumatic experiences, ambiguous or disenfranchised grief, and some the most non-death losses of living with mental health challenges.
Valerie’s approach is grounded in neuroscience. She integrates EMDR, CBT, DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, somatic therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic theory to target core beliefs and support sustained psychological change.

Kirsten is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She has over 9 years of working with people of all ages move through grief, bereavement, and end of life challenges. She has experience working with health professionals, chronic health issues, and stress management challenges.
She provides individual therapeutic services to children (5+), youth, and adults. Kirsten practices from a holistic and client-centred approach that uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential therapy, somatic therapies, and art/play therapy.
